i just woke up because my bed's to cramped up (i need a bigger one). it's already 112mn and my whole body patrticularly my shoulders and my arms hurt terribly. it's because with a couple of my discovery batchmates and the pco's we went to baseco tondo to volunteer for the habitat youth build last saturday. we met at starbucks theatre mall and i got there first. after an hour or so they all started coming (imagine i waited inside starbucks for almost an hour?) marc was late (as usual) even though his house was only "3minutes" away. anyway, me, jay-ar, yas, eloi, melai, carlo, bert, dots, and jay rode in miggy's van. i got a nice seat, but as we started to move in edsa, shet pare, ang init! the sun was on my side and i was burning! (yes i know.. but it's still hot eh!) so we went into a convoy-sort-of ride. as we were following peter's carnival, he went into the lane where it said "south expressway". great. we headed the wrong way. so we have to go on and look for either turns to get of that road. miggy was a little worried taht we might end up somewhere, and we did! we saw the new naia terminal 3 which isn't open yet. a few more turns and we got to roxas boulevard. as we turned to the other side a terrible thing happened. we were caught by the mmda! apparently, the man wasn't that who you would call a good officer cause he doesn't have an idea what are violation is! he told us that miggy wasn't wearing a seatbelt. but he waaas! miggy was furious and any second he would blow up and we could be in more deepshit. fortunately the officer didn't give us a ticket, but he pointed something at our rear and guess what, a flat tire! i say: this trip's geting weird...
so flash forward. we got tehre and we started our work. our first assignment was to dig and transfer mounds of earth. it wasn't that hard, but it wasn't also that easy. the sun was getting hotter every hour and the soil was to hard to dig, plus stones slow us down. eventually we dug almost all of it up and the person in charge was quite impressed on our "efficiency" (yeah gotta love that word) so after that he transfered us to another assignment with to put up steel frames for the house. suprisingly the steel frames a.k.a. "walls" weren't heavy at all. the job was done in just a couple of minutes. so we got back to digging, this time more big mounds of earth were there and gigantic stones also. the job now was hard and the sun is at the 12noon mark. it was scorching baby! everyone was pooped out, but we have to carry on. after 6 grueling hours of sun and soil we decided to call it a day. but nooo....
i got a message from hazel that she's still in the hospital because she needed to take some more tests. so i rushed there thinking that she needed me. and she did. we talked about what happened when i was gone and she told me that she's quite okay now (yey. im happy) i stayed there for almost 4 hours din. then i went home and slept.
i love my life.
